Electric cord & bulb included with lamp purchase, Small lamps work best with a 4-watt light bulb. Large lamps can hold up to 40-watt bulbs. Screw the light bulb on to the cord. Flare the tabs on the end of the cord out. Insert the bulb with the cord attached into the hole in the lamp all the way up. Plug the cord onto the outlet and turn the switch on. Please ensure that the lamp is switched off and unplugged from the outlet when changing bulbs. In area of high humidity lamps are best left on 24/7. Keep in a dry environment. The heat from the light keeps the salt dry. Lamp should not be left outdoors (it will melt and shape will change).
